SFSP is a federally funded child nutrition program that ensures low-income students under 18years old have access to nutritious meals during the summer when school is not in session. Free meals meeting the at approved SFSP sites include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low/non-fat dairy, and meal or meal alternative proteins based on USDA guidelines.
Yavapai Food Council offers brown bag breakfast, lunch, and snacks through the Bountiful Kitchen. These meals adhere to the USDA nutritional guidelines and Yavapai Food Council is recognized by the Arizona Department of Education as an approved SFSP sponsor and food provider.
Applications must be submitted to Yavapai Food Council by March 25th, 2016 for consideration of food service the summer of 2016. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to apply.
